Happy Friday! It’s been awhile.. again. I’m sorry I’m really struggling with finding balance lately. As my kids get older the more I seem to struggle. All they want to do is play play play, which is amazing but sometimes mama needs a minute to herself. My son is officially 10 months old. Time is just flying! He is in to EVERYTHING and he eats EVERYTHING! It is terrible I am always chasing him down and having to dig random sticks, leaves and dirt out of his mouth. I don’t remember having to do this with my daughter. Maybe it’s a boy thing?

Anyways I am here with a recipe! I have been loving this for breakfast recently. So here’s the story: I have been eating the same oatmeal for over a year, every single day. What can I say I’m a creature of habit, when I like something I stick to it. Well my stomach has been bloating like crazy and couldn’t figure out what was causing it. So I decided one day to not eat oatmeal and try something different. My stomach hasn’t been as bad since!

So my new breakfast has a base of yogurt. I only eat Greek yogurt, so I just buy a container of vanilla Greek yogurt. I then add a scoop of peanut butter, a little honey, spoonful of chia seeds and mix it all together. Then I top it with a banana. It would be delicious with a little vanilla protein powder. I’ll have to try that tomorrow. You could also add whatever toppings you wanted. It’s oddly filling!

  • Greek yogurt (any flavor you like)
  • Honey
  • Peanut butter/nut butter
  • Chia seeds
  • Protein powder (optional)
  • Banana or any fruit
  • Any toppings you’d like

This has been my go to breakfast this past week! It’s super simple and delicious!

If you give this a try let me know what you think of it! What’s your go to breakfast?

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you all have an amazing weekend!

One thing I like to do with breakfasts/desserts with a yogurt base is to use fresh or frozen berries (defrosted) and mix that up. From there, you can add the chia seeds and protein powder.
