Happy Saturday y’all! It’s been a long week. My kids and I are sick and it’s been tough. My daughter and I have a cold and my poor little man has croup. I have never experienced croup before and it’s been rough. My little man is such a champ when it comes to taking his medicine. Riley and I have been drinking as much water as we can. I found this green juice at Walmart and thought it’d be perfect to help with our immune systems. She absolutely hated it but she still drank it!
So this last week we got all of our Christmas decorations put up except for the stockings. We still need to find Mico one and I just can’t seem to find any that I like. Since we live in such a tiny house we had to get a much smaller tree. In the past we have had huge trees, one year it was 12 feet tall. I have to say I am loving the smaller tree. It was much easier to decorate and set up.
It also only took my hubby a couple hours to hang the lights on the house. I am really loving this tiny house lifestyle.
You guys. Christmas is in 23 days. Seriously where does time go? I can’t believe it’s almost here and I have done zero Christmas shopping. We normally procrastinate to the very last minute. Anyone else?
What’s your favorite thing to do to get ready for Christmas? I love baking cookies, driving around to see all the lights and cuddling on the couch drinking hot cocoa and watching Christmas movies. There is something so magical about this time of year. I am happy to announce we don’t have snow at the moment. I am such a freeze baby that I just am dreading it. I would like it to snow for the week of Christmas and then disappear and become warm.
Also since I started my clean eating and exercising 6 weeks ago I don’t actually crave cookies and sweets as much as I did. So I may have to skip baking cookies this year since I won’t be eating them. Anyone know any clean eating recipes for cookies?
