Motivation Mondays

Happy happy Monday! Did I just say that? You read it right! Today has been a good day which is odd because it’s a Monday and my little man was up every hour last night. I woke up with a spring in my step and I’m excited about it.

Today marks 2 weeks of my new healthy lifestyle journey. Every Monday I allow myself to check my weight and every other Monday I check my measurements. I was very pleased to have lost one pound this last week and I dropped 7 inches all around. Now that may not sound like a lot, but to me it’s incredible.

This last week has been very long, exciting and a bit stressful. We had Halloween, my daughters 3rd birthday ( she had 2 birthday dinners) and my kids and I haven’t been feeling the best. With all that I still did my best to eat as clean as possible, I did have a little birthday cake and it wasn’t as good as I hoped. I also made it a mission to work out almost every day this week. There was one day I felt very rundown and exhausted so I listened to my body and took the day off. 


I will get there, I will accomplish my goals. Even on those tough days, I remind myself why I started. If you are working on a healthy lifestyle change remember you can do it! There will be tough days we just have to work through them and keep our head up.
