Happy Saturday! Wow has it been a crazy week! We had so much going on; Halloween, Rileys 3rd birthday, and chasing my now 3 year old around plus taking care of my little boy.
As I sit here sipping my coffee (unfortunately decaf) I am so grateful for my amazing kids and hubby. On Halloween my husband ended up hurting his back at work, but he still took Riley trick or treating. It was freezing that night but we had fun watching her get excited to dress up and receive candy from friends, family and neighbors. Riley decided at the last minute (that’s how we do things in this house lol) she wanted to be Belle. She looked absolutely beautiful. Belle is one of our favorite princesses so I was excited when she chose to be her.
On November 2nd Riley Mae turned 3 years old. I woke up in disbelief that I have a 3 year old. She was so excited for her big day. We celebrated with streamers all over the house and presents. Then we took our little girl out for lunch, she chose waffles. She has a strong love for pancakes, just like her mama. Then after he nap we had a birthday dinner with my hubbys side. Riley chose pancakes again because why not? I loved watching her excitement when we brought out her princess cake! I still can’t believe she is 3 years old!
The next day we had snow. Can we talk about how I am not ready for snow? It’s beautiful but way too cold for me. Riley loves the snow. She stared out the window all day and was excited to go outside and be pulled on the sled. Riley and her daddy went to the store to buy her sled and they surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a sweater. They are the sweetest.
This week has been such a fun and exciting week!
I was thinking maybe every week we could have a coffee talk series where we just sip some coffee and chat about whatever comes to mind (I’m super random, just warning you now lol) If you think that would be interesting let me know! What’s your favorite thing to do on a Saturday morning?
Thank you for stopping by!
