February Favorites

February 28, 2017

Hello everyone! I hope you’re week has gone well so far! Yesterday I had my 20 week appointment and ultrasound! We brought Riley with so she could see her sibling and she loved it. We did find out the gender but are waiting to tell people. So yesterday was definitely exciting in our house hold. Then this morning I woke up at 6:30am with a bloody nose. Oh the joys of pregnancy.

I can’t believe it is already the end of February. Not going to lie I almost typed out January. I am losing it (#momlife). Alright let’s jump right into my favorite things!

First things first, I am still obsessed with Batiste Dry Shampoo. If you have been following my blog you know I can’t live without it. I am almost out of my bottle and already stocked up on another. I found a new one to try. Well I think it’s new. Don’t worry I’ll keep you posted!

Next up I have been really enjoying the Shea Moisture African Black Soap. Of course my skin hasn’t changed all that much since I started it, but I haven’t been using it too long. Plus all my hormones are all over the place so I’m sure it’ll get better once baby is here. The one thing I have noticed is my skin is much softer and my breakouts have semi calmed down.

Another skin care product I have been loving is The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil. I drop a little out on a q-tip and dab it onto all my blemishes. It has helped dry out the breakouts and make them go away faster.

I have talked about this bottle before in a post, but I am just in love with it. This is the New Wave Enviro 2.2 liter water bottle. It is great, you have all the water you need in a bottle. For me, I always fill it up 2-3 times a day. I love staying hydrated and I just enjoy the taste of water. I purchased mine on Amazon, and they do have other colors that I am dying to get my hands on.

My newest snack addiction is Larabars. They have so many different flavors and I have enjoyed every one I’ve tried so far! My favorite is the Cashew Cookie and Pecan Pie. What are your favorites!

I also recently purchased the Larabar Bites. Oh my god I feel like I’ve been living under a rock. They are absolutely delcious. It gives me the sweet that I crave but is healthy. I have only tried the Chocolate Macaroon flavor and it’s so good. Also these have been a big hit with my toddler!

I have been living in comfy tees and leggings all month. I have yet to find the perfect leggings and am still on the hunt. What is your favorite brand?

Last but not least, I have been enjoying prenatal yoga. It has helped me stretch out and just feel good. I don’t have a favorite one, I just look up on YouTube and pick a different one each time. I even got my little one to join me. Of course she was bored about 5 minutes in but at least she tried.

Alright, if you made it to the end of the novel of favorites I applaud you! Sorry if it was super long, I just liked a ton of things this month and I like to share them with you.

As always, thank you all so much for reading and supporting my blog. If you have any suggestions on topics you’d like me to write about let me know.

Have a fantastic week!

Right! I have been loving it since I can’t use pretty much any other type of spot treatment.

While I was pregnant, I loved the Motherhood Maternity leggings. I tried a few different ones and these were the only ones I liked. Admittedly, I still use them when I go out for errands. They’re super comfy !
